It isn’t so easy to compel a score or two of big guys in khakis to listen to you. Especially if you know their histories - the dramatic stories of this war, the ups and downs, losses and disappointments. Especially if you are shorter than all of them, and a woman.

Nonetheless, I am a teacher among them. The dream come true only after more than a year of my stay at UVC base - the course of lectures on Information war. It would be nice to see it before, but probably neither I nor they were ready. I had no authority to compel them to listen, I hadn’t the trust and recognition of professionalism. In turn, they had not experience of losses, namely, in informational fighting to understand the inportance of this information for themselves. Now, they say, “stars have agreed”. We’ve got the course.

Currently it consists of five lectures with practical exercises. We consider the information war in two generations: the first - a war for resources, the second - a war for brains. Students "recover their sight" from information what the level a conflict can reach because of manipulation on society ignorance of key concepts, lack of knowledge of meaning of words and definitions. Therefore, from the beginning we see into glossary, or as we name it jokingly, “match the dictionaries”. Information war, social consciousness, public opinion, information resources - all of this requires a clear definition.

We have too little of theoretical material. There is the need to seek out it and separate the wheat from the chaff among the vast amount of sources, full of blurred philosoрhical maxims. We don’t need that - we appreciate time, that for a short time subdued war gave us. Therefore there is a lot of practice.

Innovative solutions make them wonder. In groups, we parse mistakes of our informational practice. The most sensitive is the gay parade of my brain (about a month mass-media pestered with questions about notorious crackdown). But the most painful loss is that the technically raised noise and din left unattended the most significant event in the life of UVC in fact - awarding Order The National Hero of Ukraine. We are the first military unit in the history of Ukraine awarded this level of human trust.

- Obviously, the parade has been carefully planned as action to discredit the forces that profess Christian values. Including us. It’s impossible not to respond to the challenge. So, you are the information staff of UVC. What would you do?

- We offer, - reports one of the groups, - an alternative course: fathers with children. The inscription on dads t-shirts: "I am Marinka’s dad. And who did you give birth?" The goal is that society could see deadlockness of the propaganda of unpromising relations in terms of future.

What a beauty! We talk openly about victories and defeats in the information war against rashists and governance, possible responds to the challenges. We try to predict the directions of hits, come up with options for the use of the available resources. Those fiery eyes!

- What should we think up to annihilate the action of information vacuum law?

That is the question! I’m happy to hear it in such figuration, because I tried to compel them to think in categories like this.

We will think up! It’s time really to think about competent building of information flows in the battalion and the Corps. There is a lot of work! The Right Sector boys learn. They learn to fight.
