Recently, the enemies of ‘the Right Sector’, such as government spokespersons and, especially, police leaders, made widespread one mantra. They say - all nationalists have to go cheerfully eastward to die in a place of glory as Poroshenko’s targets. Many ‘sofa’-patriots and ordinary citizens begin to agree - ‘yes, if you're a nationalist, just be on the front. This mantra is very convenient: no need to justify why you are not in the army, and ‘we are for peace’, as the president ordered.

On August 5, Gennady Moskal, the head of Transcarpathian region, again began to tell funny stories about ‘The Right Sector’ to the society in his interview to the 5th channel. This time he said that some members of ‘ The Right Sector’ - Transcarpathia has changed authorities on the ground by the order of criminal groups.

Below we publish a part of the report regarding the participation of ‘The Right Sector’-Transcarpathia in the process of the local authorities’ change with some our comments. (The style and spelling of the text are original; UVC-info’s comments are italicized)

The campaign to discredit the volunteer movement is continuing. The community is hopeless due to recent failures and it is raising much doubt that grows on total disappointment and fatigue.

But the history already sorted between truth and falsehood, propaganda and manipulation. Why do we keep walking in a circle of our own mistakes?

The second half of 1944. Complete occupation of Ukraininan territory by the Soviet regime. One ocupying regime replaced the previous one. There was a confrontation between the Soviet regime and the Ukrainian Insurgent Army.

When analyzed by points - the parallels are obvious.

Probably, only in “Utopia” written by Thomas More everything is perfect – society, state, human being. Life itself is very far from ideal. For weak persons it is usually a redundant reason for whimpering. However, we, nationalists, see the God’s will in it. The King of heaven and earth, in spite of all his power, leaves us a chance to improve the present reality, to fulfil our dreams, to change the world and to change ourselves. Therefore, the red-and-black flag convoked on Maidan best sons and daughters of Ukraine. Through the three months of overefforts of conscious people, through the sacrifice of the Heaven's Hundred Heroes, strength of revolutionists and blacken pavement we have thrown down the regime of president Yanukovych. But russia occupied Crimea and began the invasion of Donbass.

The Leader of “The Right Sector” made a decision to form The Ukrainian Volunteer Corps with it’s aim “….the struggle with moscow’s aggression, destruction of enemies of Ukrainian nation –terrorists and separatists, restitution under the full control of a Ukrainian government Donetsk and Luhansk regions and Crimea peninsula (The Leader Dmytro Yarosh, allocution from 15 July 2015 B.)

According to directive of the Corps commander from 26.09.2014 № 17 on a base of force organization “The Right Sector” of Kherson region was created 12th RBAT UVC RS, our battalion. Pastuh was appointed as a commander of the battalion. He has passed through the Afghan war and returned home from the Donbas’s front line. The basis of subunit was formed of the volunteers, who had already smelled the powder on the East.

Everything had to be done from the start. Still it is hard to overestimate the help of our compatriots. Indeed, there are not only an extremely tasty watermelons grow on Kherson lands, but a lot of original Ukrainians live here. The best proof is the fail of separatism on this territory, russian scum have not crawled out from occupied Crimea.

Only owing to compatriots battalion got the place for basing, influxes of volunteers and thorough assistance. Its important to mention that people helped what they could: the one gave the fuel, the other permanently brought the provisions, and some (for example grannies) fetched knitted socks and home-made canned food.

Of course, the formation of battalion went on not easily. The Commander became to much proud with previous martial laurels, discipline and the quality of training reduced. On November 20, 2014 the battalion was abolished according to the decree for Corps. However the majority of command staff and fighters passed the verification and occurred not implicated in negative activities and was ready to proceed the protection occupation. Consequently, on a basis of abolished subunit on December 13, 2014 was established 12th battalion with new Commander Vados.

The main task of a subunit is mobilization of volunteers, their training and following departure to the military subunits of the Corps, providing of systematic rotation of fighters. Still, with a total paralysis of Government and throughout decay of its force structures – police, public prosecutor's office, etc.—only 12th, as a military component of The Right Sector in the region, became a main factor of non-admission of terrorist’s and separatist’s activities and anti-ukrainian operations in the region. Since September, 2014 the right volunteers had blocked up the administrative border with occupied Crimea and the strategically important Kakhovska GES.

On Battalion’s account are detection of Crimean reconnaissance and sabotage groups; combating border smuggling, drug trafficking, gambling, street crime, help the Orthodox communities of UOC Kiev Patriarchate to defend churches from moscow’s priests, thousands of kilometers in the region, countless overthrown idols of lenin, hundreds of meetings and events. Our sleepless nights and short forced marches with full soldier's packs are only for people. The sincere thankfulness and support to us are only from people. Even with such a hard schedule fighters found time to chop firewood for a single mother or to work in a garden of some granny. Guys gladly helped at the household, probably recalling remote peaceful life, and as a reward they got domestic odorous milk and greens gathered by women’s hands.

The Country had passed through the flame of Maidan being inspired and was drawn into the war with russia. The Right Sector, battalions of The Ukrainian Volunteer Corps, fighting friends and colleagues almost one and a half year struggle inveterately against russian invader and internal counterrevolution. Our 12th battalion is in this national liberation rows.

But enemies, having no possibilities to demolish the Organisation and the UVC in general, in several regions, especially in Kherson region, proceed the attempts to undermine the situation, to split up groups of patriots and to influence destructively on non-hardened fighters. There are some ex-chums, who started swanking after a short rotation on the block, the underworld, the russian crime and corrupt militia. Nowdays for all of them (previous and current authorities) we are like a bone in the throat, because they want to bite more. They are hunting like jackals around the subunit trying to bite.

Vainly. Battalion is like a clenched fist, Ukrainians, Tatars, Georgians, russians are together, shoulder to shoulder—we will never sag. When you look into the fighter’s eyes during the forming, you see it. There are our Kherson steppes, Dnipro water meadows and painstaking people. And as in old cossack’s times our blessed Ukraine is behind us.

We have to win. We will win. After all, God is with us, as well as our courageous nation and blood brother’s shoulder of thousand-thousand right volunteers do.

We have something to die, and the main thing - have something to shed the blood of our enemies!

Today a special journalist group of UVC-info is coming back from Mukachevo. Events on the ‘Western’ front became so resonant for the whole Ukraine that will become the object of many investigations. At the same time the results of the official investigation of the Mukachevo events in the national media are shown one-sided. They publish mainly information given by police, who stands for protection of esprit de corps and report only the number of open proceedings and the titles of the Criminal Code articles, as well as some pseudoanalytic evaluations prepared by various "experts", employed by an ordering party.

Ruslan Ignatolya (Friend 'Pukh') died 11.07.2015 at Mukachevo.

Young, active, but descrete and responsible at work, sincere and open in the friendship, balanced and brave. Ruslan was born in Mukachevo, but the last 15 years lived in Portugal, in Lisbon. He had prestigious job in geological exploration company with great career opportunities.

Nevertheless, his heart was always living in the small town of Mukachevo in Zakarpattya region. When the war had started in Ukraine, he could not sit calmly 4 thousand kilometers away from the calamity. He had quarreled with his Portugese friends, who tried to deter him from this trip. He quited the job. He bought tickets and flew back home, where he immediately joined the Right Sector.

I do not understand Poroshenko, he has a capital of a billion US dollars, it is enough for the rest of his lifetime, as well as his children and grandchildren. Why after being chosen by the people the profit from your business has trippled? Isn't it like spitting into the face of your impoverished voters?

Wasn't it a promise to sell the Roshen factory during the election campaign? To promise publicly and not to keep it, what is this? Is it the inebriate effect of the power, or of the money, or of the impunity? I do not understand it.

Why is it so difficult to be honest? Is it so difficult to sell your corporation for a lot of money and live on the great state provision of the President? Establish a trust fund in the United Kingdom, or a few funds all over the world in order to secure the generations for a 1000 years and receive in return the love and recognition of the people, that is a strong Ukraine. Leave a mark in the history eventually! If the situation develops this way, Poroshenko will remain in the history of Ukraine as a traitor and a huckster of the interests of the country.

And life is not eternal! The average life expectancy for men in Ukraine is 65 years. If one takes care, it is easy to extend to 75 years. Is this the ultimate goal to spend a billion in 26 years? There is neither the elixir of eternal life nor the transmigration of soul. Or maybe you can take the assets into the afterlife now? Is there something I am not aware of, and are there the loopholes?

There is no doubt, history will remember this president, as another disappointment! Poroshenko leads and supports a system that does not recognize the merits of the volunteers at the front, as well as of those volunteers, who provide for the Army. Like, we would have coped without them. You would crap your pants!

There are hundreds of our citizens in the captivity of the Russian terrorists, some of them are for more than a year already. Does the government do everything to free them?

Poroshenko and his fear of patriots are reminiscent of Yanukovich, and there are the new political prisoners in the country. The patriots, journalists and civil society activists are beaten on the streets and incarcerated. There is the military equipment without official markings in Mukachevo.

All these ambiguous appointments of personnel, keeping the overt traitors on their positions in the Ministery of Defense, corruption in Ukroboronprom and inability to complete any single reform for one and a half year. And even not to start any in the most troublesome sectors, I am speaking about the court system and the healthcare.

Come to your senses, Poroshenko, you go along the way of historical oblivion.

What is the position of Ukrainian Volunteer Corps at the front? Which tasks we put before UVC in the context of a new political goals of the NLM "The Right Sector"?

First, Ukrainian Volunteer Corps continue performing their tasks either on the front or immediate battle area . There are a lot of them, at the request of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and specifically Chief of General Staff Colonel-General Muzhenko, we took away the fifth battalion from the position of "mine Butovka" where they were located, district Opytne, Avdeevka they were not only at the mine, but we took them away not to provoke the situation. Our "dear” and "favorite" authorities could show that they perform there Minsk agreement and everything of this kind, though in my opinion is absurd solution.

After the first Minsk "agreements" the media constantly spreads information about the secret pact between Poroshenko and Putin to the official Minsk agreements that includes the assured additional conditions regarding the stabilization of situation in the East of Ukraine.

The reason for circulation of this information is because of a speech by Mr. John Kerry, the United States Secretary of State, in Paris after the talks with Mr. Lavrov, the Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs. It was said in Mr. Kerry's statement that "the presidents additionally agreed on some timelines on these or that actions" for the implementation of the articles of the Minsk agreements.
